Seaman William Kerr

Seaman William Kerr, Royal Naval Reserve. He died at Home on 20th August 1915, aged 19 and is buried in Ayton Parish Churchyard. He was the son of Mrs Margaret Scott of 58 Church Street, Berwick. He had been stationed at H.M.S.Pembroke which was a shore barracks at Chatham naval base.

Private James Johnston

Private James Johnston, Royal Defence Corps.  He was accidentally shot and killed on 25th December 1916, aged 36, whilst serving as a guard at Donnington Hall Prisoner of War Camp and is buried in Ayton Parish Churchyard. He was the son of James Johnston and Alice Kerr.

Driver Joseph Harvey

Driver Joseph Harvey, 1st Auxiliary H.T. Coy. Army Service Corps. He died at home on 27th July 1918 and is buried in Edrom Churchyard. He was the son of Mr A. Harvey of Blackadder Mains, Edrom and the brother of Alexander above.
