In affectionate remembrance of JAMES WIGHT beloved husband of MARGARET BROWN who died at Branxton Moor on 30th July 1917 aged 65 years. Also the above MARGARET BROWN who died at Low Angerton on 31st Dec 1924 aged 72 years. Also their dear son MATTHEW BROWN WIGHT who died in France 4th Nov 1917 aged 26 years interred in Etaples Cemetery. Also JAMES son of the above and husband of MINNIE WIGHT who died in Canada 8th March 1937 aged 51 years

Also ELLEN their daughter who died July 29th 1840 aged 43 years. Also RACHEL their daughter who died Nov 26th 1843 aged 38 years. JOHN STEEL died at Bowsden Jan 15th 1867 aged 62 years. GEORGE STEEL  died at Flodden Tile Works Sept 11th 1872 aged 71 years. THOMAS STEEL died at Lowick July 13th 1885 aged 85 years.

Here lies the body of WILLIAM TATE of Cornhill who died April 13th 1781 aged 35 years. Also MARY WANLASS his wife who died 16th March 1822 aged 81 years. Also ANDREW TATE their son who died at Coldstream 25th July 1835 aged 36 years.

Also ELEANOR BRYSON who died at Greenlaw Walls 6th August 1911 aged 76 years.

ANN SELBY Grand daughter who died in infancy. Also ANDREW their son and beloved husband of BARBARA SELBY who died at Fenton Town April 2nd 1907 aged 73 years. Also of the above BARBARA SELBY  who died at Pawston June 16th 1912 aged 76 years. Also BARBARA ISABELL daughter of the above who died at Lowick May 24th 1952 aged 76 years.

(This headstone is included partly in a bush and we think Mary’s middle name reads as Fontaine)

In loving memory of ISAAC FAIRNINGTON died January 30th 1918 aged 65 years. I know that my redeemer liveth. Also EMILY ELIZA TENNANT HUGGINS his beloved wife who died Dec 16th 1950 aged 96 years.  Their children rise up call them blessed. South-facing side: Also of their beloved daughter EMILY ELIZA FAIRNINGTON died December 1st 1969 aged 83 years.

Erected by ANN in loving memory of JOHN LYLE her husband who died at Moneylaws March 20th 1863 aged 64 years. Also of JOHN LYLE grandson of the above who died at the Hagg 1st April 1880 aged 27 years. AGNES LYLE died at Grindon Oct 1882 aged 17 years.
