Erected to the memory of JOHN FAIRNINGTON who died at Salutation Hall.Dec 29th 1849 aged 80 years. Also ALICE his wife who died at Branxton July 18th 1847 aged 82 years. Also ELEANOR PRINGLE their daughter who died at Branxton June 18th 1843 aged 40 years. Also AGNES BRYSON who died at Shidlaw April 10th 1885 aged 86 years. Also ELEANOR BRYSON who died at Greenlaw Walls 6th August 1911 aged 76 years.
