Branxton Old Churchyard – Row 8 – North – Steel

Erected by ELIZA STEEL in memory of her husband ISAAC STEEL tenant of East Flodden who died 25th May 1881 aged 22 years.

Also ELIZA DAVIDSON wife of the above named ISAAC STEEL died 15th October 1887 aged 64 years.

ELIZA CATHERINE STEEL daughter who died 7th November 1903 aged 39 years.

(This headstone is tightly surrounded by a yew bush and holly bush and the words and dates require a double-check)

In memory of JOHN CHARLES SIDLEY a beloved husband and father elder son of the Rev JOHN J SIDLEY born at Cambo 30th January 1884 died at Bamburgh 23rd July 1946 for many years resident in Egypt. And of his wife PHYLLIS MARY SIDLEY born 22nd August 1900 died 5th July 1979. Asleep in Jesus.
