Private Norman Blythe Watson, 1st/4th (Territorial) Battalion, Royal Scots. He died on Active Service in hospital, aged 23, in Malta on 16th August 1915 of wounds sustained at Gallipoli. He had been born in Eccles and was the son of Rev. J. Mitchell Watson and Margaret Watson of Leitholm and is buried in Pieta Military
