Coldstream Football Club history

The Society is working in partnership with Coldstream Football Club to document the club’s history. The expected completion date of this book is likely to be winter 2013. Work has started in conjunction with club stalwart and vice-president John Scott, centring first on the glorious years of the late 1960s. The next stop will be the mid 1920s when the club had a few years at the top of the Scottish Amateur Cup scene.

Established in 1895, the Club has enjoyed an illustrious 100+ years. The first team play in the semi-professional East of Scotland First Division. The ‘Streamers’ also compete in the preliminary rounds of the Scottish Cup every season, which brings both intrigue and excitement to our small Borders town. The Club’s Amateur team play in the Border Amateur League.
