(Probably near row 5) Erected by ALEXANDER STEWART Mason Lennel Newtown in memory of ROBERT son died 26 April 1848 aged 15 months. Also above ALEXANDER STEWART died at Newcastle upon Tyne 4 February 1869 aged 53 years.
(Probably in the area of the external south wall of the auld kirk). WILLIAM DOUGLAS JP late Bank Agent Coldstream died in London 18 August 1889 aged 68 years. Also WILLIAM 2nd son Solicitor and JP died 5 July 1894 aged 29 years. Also ELIZABETH wife died at Edinburgh 4 March 1896 aged 63 years. Also THOMAS H. DOUGLAS JP died 17 September 1940 aged 77 years. Also ETHEL MAUD DOUGLAS died 17 December 1943 aged 84 years.

(Against west wall of church, likely to be external) Erected by JOSEPH JOBLING coachbuilder Coldstream in memory of wife JANET STEEL died 29 May 1834? Aged 36 years. (Death register shows JANET JOBLING died 29 April 1854 aged 29 Years).

A look at the 1896 book of James Robson on 'Churches and Churchyards in Berwickshire' shows the following transcription:-

Here lyeth the body of JOHN KERS who deceased the 6 day of October 1694 his age 32 years. 

Middle – cannot locate – 45 – Kers

TOMES KERS tnnetn in Lettlethank 1737 aged 48 years. Also son WILLIAM KERS died 1 January 1737 aged 3 years.(NB In Eccles parish, north-west of Kames. See Armstrong’s map of Berwickshire 1771). This is a scluptered angel, skull, pick and cross bones.

Middle – Cannot locate – 52 – Wilson/Pallon

GEORGE WILSON died 2 May 1846 aged 72 years. Also ISABELLA PALLON died at Ravelaw 20 January 1858? Aged 84 years (rear of headstone unreadable).

This headstone was recorded in the Cargill/Prentice survey of 1970 but cannot be located today (2012).

In memory of JAMES McDOUGAL who died 14 February 1817 aged 16 years. Also ISABELLA McDOUGAL who died 22 October 1822 aged 18 years. Also JAMES McDOUGAL their father who died at Ford Westfield 26 December 1836 aged 62 years. Also CATHERINE McDOUGAL their mother died 29 February 1865 aged 86 years.

Erected by CHARLES HOPE in loving memory of JANE CANT his wife who died 29 October 1918 aged 58 years. Also the above CHARLES HOPE died 22nd June 1921 aged 60 years. Also ADAM (HOPE) their son died 9 February 1960 aged 67 years.  RIP.

Erected to the memory of JOHN MORTON Slater Coldstream died 24 November 1856 aged 49 years. Also GEORGE his son who died 22 December 1840 aged 7 years. Also ANDREW his son who died 6 December 1868 (?) aged 1 year (Not in D/Register 1848 or 1868). Also JOHN his son who died 5 August 1849 aged 12 years. Also BARBARA his daughter who died 19 October 1849 aged 3 years. (There is a small stone beside this headstone with IRN included).

WILLIAM SPEARS Joiner in Tilmouth died 2 May 1777 aged 48 years. Also JOHN son died 12 September 1760 aged 3 months. Also ISABEL SPEARS spouse died 15 March 1805 aged 65 years

Erected by WILLIAM WEATHERHEAD Coldstream who died 13 June 1819 aged 82 years.

Also HELEN WILSON his wife who died 31 July 1823 aged ?

Also their daughter MARGARET WILSON who died 4 June 1847 aged 75 years.

Also of the above WILLIAM WEATHERHEAD their son gardener and feuar  Coldstream who died 18 January 1855 aged 78 years.
