Erected by MARGARET LUMSDEN in memory of WILLIAM LUMSDEN her husband  who died at Crookham 28th September 1880 aged 45 years.

THOMAS  their son died in infancy 27th February 1857

ELIZABETH their daughter died 4th June 1877 aged 18 months.

Also the above  MARGARET LUMSDEN who died at Crookham March 15th 1910 aged 71 years.

Also of ANNIE daughter of the above who died at Low Fell November 20th 1919, interred at Saltwell Cemetery aged 45 years.

Also of MARGARET ANN their daughter  who died at Crookham 29th November 1943 aged 73 years

Also CATHERINE his widow who died at Newcastle 4th December 1918 aged 90 years. Interred in Elswick Cemetery

Sacred to the memory of ISABELL LISLE the beloved wife of GEORGE LISLE of Etal. Departed this life after a long illness in the blessed  hope of life eternal May 12th 1865 aged 64 years.

Here lies also GEORGE LISLE of Etal departed this life by a sad accident November 6th 1868 aged 67 years.

He was a good man much respected and lamented .
 

Though I walk through the valley in the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me.
