Erected by GILBERT TAYLOR in memory of ELIZABETH TAYLOR his wife who died on the 151h June 1836 aged 62 years. 

Also the above GILBERT TAYLOR who died at Orange Lane 13th September 1844 aged 72 years. 

Also GILBERT TAYLOR Timber Merchant, son of the above who died at Berwick June 13th 1862 aged 53 years. 

Also THOMAS TAYLOR their son who died 16th February 1879 aged 63 years. 

Also PHILLIS TAYLOR his daughter who died 71h  January 1877 aged 75 years.

  Also  BARTHOLOMEW 5th son of above who died November 5th 1890 aged 33 years and is interred in Kelso Cemetery.

Also JEANIE grand daughter aged 13 months. Also MARY DOROTHY youngest daughter of the above and beloved wife of ALEXANDER HUGHAN Vancouver BC who died at Corstophine 29th September 1925.

This stone is erected by JOHN BEST in memory of his father THOMAS BEST who died at East Learmouth March 13th 1842 aged 66 years. Also CATHERINE his daughter died March 14th....12 aged 16 years. Also CATHERINE BROWN his wife died at Crookham Eastfield August 16th 1862 aged 75 years. Also CATHERINE BEST grand daughter died December 17th 1863 aged 11 years. Also JOHN BEST their eldest son who died at Crookham Eastfield January 21st 1873 aged 28 years.

In memory of ANNE HUNTER born 6th June 1805 died 18th November 1874 second daughter of General Sir MARTIN HUNTER of Meadowsley Antons Hill. Also in memory of ELIZABETH BELL born 30th January 1787 who died 2nd June 1986 third daughter of the Rev. JAMES BELL DD MA FRSE Minister of the parish of Coldstream. In life devoted friends and now it is humbly hopes through faith in Christ destined for a blessed immortality

Also CHRISTIAN wife of the above who died May 26th 1846 aged 68 years.

Also AGNES PIKE his wife who died 9th Feb 1883.

MARGARET PIKE his daughter died 12'11 Ap,ril1886 aged 44 years.

 Also their son THOMAS PIKE merchant, Coldstream, who died 191' Sept 1890 age 58 years.

 Also their daughter CATHERINE PIKE who died 1ot" April 1894 aged 58 years.
