1947, aged 75 years.

AE 1743.  Here lies the body of ALEXANDER son to WILLIAM EUART in Car•ham who dyed on the 3'd day of December A.D. 1742 aged 7 years. 

Short was his life, the longer his rest- God takes them soonest whom he loveth. the best for he that is born today and dies tomorrow, dosoth  some days of joye, but months of sorrow, his mourning parents moaw while he on highs enyoys his God and sings triumphantly.

Stone reversed- back to the path.  Erected in memory of GEORGE DIPPlE (?) who died at Wark November 18?? 

Also JOHN DIPPlE??? who died??? Also MARY DIPPlE his spouse who died  at Fishes Stead on the 8th of January 1812? Aged 72 years.

In loving memory of ALICE BEULAH BROWN daughter of THOMAS and ALICE BROWN West Learmouth who died on duty as nurse in Newcastle Royal Infirmary February 17th 1919 aged 26 years.Called to higher service. Also of above THOMAS BROWN who died February 13th 1921 aged 68 years. Also ALICE CARR BROWN his beloved wife who died at West Learmouth May 5th 1931 aged 79 years. Their faith abideth.

Section A – Row 38 – 1 – Davidson

This stone was erected by ROBERT DAVIDSON in remembrance of MARY his wife who died at Moneylaws  August 12th the year of our Lord 1830 aged 33 years.

Also her sons ROBERT and JAMES who died in infancy.

Also the said ROBERT DAVIDSON  who died at Buckton 26'h February 1862 aged 73 years.

Also his son JOHN HUNTER who died at Learmouth.

 Also of ALISON HUNTER his daughter who died at Wark  both in infancy.

In memory of ADAM DIPPIE Merch. (Merchant) Coldstream who died on 13th July 1881 aged 66 years. Also ANNE KIDD his spouse who died on the 27th April 1836 aged 76 years. Also WILLIAM DIPPIE his son who died 23rd December 1840 aged 52 years. Also MARGARET DIPPIE grand daughter who died  on the 2nd October 1867 aged 69 years. Also JANET DIPPIE the daughter who died on 14th July 1870 aged 69 years.
