Erected to the memory of ROBERT SCOTT who died at Wark Boat House on the 27th of Nov 1897 aged 70 years. Also THOMAS SCOTT who died at Castle Cottage Wark on the 28th of Dec 1899 aged 75 years. Also JANET DODDS wife of the above THOMAS SCOTT who died 7th April 1918 aged 91 years. Jesus my saviour the bright and morning star.
