This stone has a very severe lean not easy to read.

Erected to the memory of THOMAS BARRON who died at Belmount 6th December 1891 aged 73 years. Also of MARGARET DICKSON his wife who died at Gordon Banks 2nd August 1903 aged 84 years. Also WILLIAM their son who died at Gordon Bank 3rd May 1913 aged 67 years. Also ALEXANDER their son who died at Gordon Bank 3rd May 1915 aged 64 years. also ISABELLA their daughter who died 29th October 1915 at Greenlaw 4th August 1934 aged 87 years. lso GFEORGE ROBERTSON her husband who died at Aberdeen 29th April 1873 aged 29 years.

Erected by MARY STARK in loving memory of GEORGE COCKBURN her husband who died at Eccles 1st April 1892 aged 34 years. Also ISABELLA  STARK her mother who died at Hawick 26th September 1889 aged 57 years.

And ANN REDPATH his mother who lived at Kennetsideheads 5th December 1901 aged 51 years. Also HELEN GRIEVE his grandmother who died at Kennetsideheads 5th June 1889 aged 80 years. Also JEMIMA REDPATH his aunt who died at Fogorig 15th May 1919 aged 73 years.

Erected by JOHN HALLIDAY in memory of his son 2nd Lieut. JOHN HALLIDAY missing in France 8th May 1918 aged 26 years. Also his daughter LIZZIE JANE died at Eccles Mains 15th December 1928 aged 24 years. Also his son ROBERT ROBERTSON died at Eccles 18th December 1941 aged 42 years. Also his wife CATHERINE LAURIE ROBERTSON died at Eccles 24th May 1943 aged 77 years.

Also his mother  MARGARET BENNET wife of JAMES SCOTT who died at Laurel Cottage 21st may 1928. Also the above JAMES SCOTT who died at Laurel Cottage 21st May 1938  aged 93 years, fisherman to three Earls of Home. Also THOMAS LEITCH RETTIE FRASER died 8th January 1961 aged 79 years and his wife MARGARET McDOUGAL daughter of the above JAMES SCOTT died 12th May 1971 aged 83 years.
