Erected by NICHOLAS ROBERTSON in loving memory of GEORGE CLARK who died at Loanbank 20th February 1896 aged 72 years. Also the above NICHOLAS ROBERTSON who died at Crookedshaws 24th September 1908 aged 79 years. Also their son GEORGE CLARK who died at Crookedshaws 2nd December 1922. Also their daughter NICHOLAS CLARK who died at Crookedshaws 20th July 1939. And JOHN CLARK their son who died at Kelso 18th October 1942.
