New Season for the Society

The Society is embarking on a new season commencing on 11th October 2012 with a talk from Mrs Isobel Gordon on 'Bruce's Legacy'. A letter of 19th July, from Society President, Eleanor Moffat, to members indicates that meetings are on the first Thursday of each month and are held in the Eildon Centre at 7:30pm.

Memories of a Scottish Photographer

Presentation on 3 May 2012 by John Elliot on his great uncle Nichol Elliot who was killed in 1917 during the Great War. Nichol Elliot was an excellent photographer and spent his formative years in Coldstream before branching out into Europe and Canada. The Great War brought him back to the UK but he fell in 1917.
