Mate James Collin

Mate James Robert Collin, Royal Naval Reserve. He died in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, aged 29, on the 7th November 1918. He had been born in Eyemouth and was the son of Thomas and Annie Collin of Houndlaw Park, Eyemouth and the husband of Agnes Collin of Kerr’s Wynd, Eyemouth. He had enlisted in April 1915 but suffered a bad leg fracture and was invalided out of the Service in May 1918. He later contracted pneumonia and died in Edinburgh.
