Sacred to the memory of THOMAS GRENSTON {Crenston} who died October 8 1801 aged 44 years.
Also five of his children. ELIZABETH died September 12 1790 aged 2 years.
ALEXANDER died September 1 1815 aged 27 years.
JAMES died January 20 1820 aged 27 years.
JOHN died December 20 1821 aged 23 years.

Also THOMAS their son who died at Shoreswood red house June 17 1857 aged 35 years.
Also WILLIAM their son who died at mindrum may 19 1883 aged 46 years.
And of M ARY ANN his wife who died at west Newbiggin January 6 1911 aged 67 years.
Also GEORGE son of WILLIAM & MARY ANN TAIT who died at Mindrum July 17 1885 aged 17 years.
Near this stone are interred the remains of ROBERT & JOHN sons of DAVID & EUPHANIA HAGGERSTONE of Ford.
ROBERT died June 19 1773 aged 1 year & five months.
JOHN died August 15 1782 aged 25 years.
Sacred to the memory of MARGARET the beloved wife of JAMES HOPE who died at Pallinsburn east lodge December 27 1868 aged 71 years
