This stone was erected in memory of two children of JOHN & SUTTIE HOPE  of Ford.

ANN died July 27 1773 aged 3 years.

1827. 72. Also to MARGARET FAIR who departed this life August 15 1824. 70.

 Also to JAMES FAIR son of the above who departed this life October 24 1824 aged 35 years.

 Also  ALICE FAIR  sister to the above WILLIAM who died 3 May 1832 aged 80 yrs.

WILLIAM FAIR, cabinetmaker died at Seaview Berwick on Tweed 25 October 1845 aged 53 years.

 Also MARY FAIR died 28 March 1868 at Edinburgh 65 years.

Also JANE FAIR died 11 August 1878 at Edinburgh aged 78

Mr JEFFREYS Vault' In this vault are deposited the remains of JOHN JEFFREYS Esq. fourth son

of JOHN JEFFREYS of Heatherslaw formerly in the first troop of Horse Granadier(sic) Guards,

and ELIZABETH his wife, daughter of DANIEL PREVEREAU of the city of Westminster Esq.

Upon his quitting the army they left London in 1764(?) & retired to Berwick upon Tweed where she died December 8 1781 aged 70. And on 8 June 1786 he also departed this life in his 85th year.

In memory also of his son WILLIAM HARRIS JEFFREY Esq. formerly a captain in the Horse Grenadier Guards who died at Bath January 16 1809 aged 70 years.

In memory of WILLIAM JEFFREYS of Heatherslaw who died 19 May 1695 aged 66 years.

 Also ELIZABETH JEFFREYS, wife who died 8 September 1728 aged 84 years.

Also THOMAS (son of WILLIAM JEFFREYS) of Heatherslaw who died ... September 1728 aged 61 years.

Also JANE his wife who died 31 December 1745 aged 69 years.

Here lyeth the remains of WILLIAM JEFFREYS son of THOMAS JEFFREYS of Heatherslaw who departed this life 19 August 1779 in the Eighty third year of his age.

Also of JOHN JEFFREYS his youngest son who died on the first day of April 1808 in his 56th year.

 Also of Jane widow & relict of the said WILLIAM JEFFRIES (sic) who died 20 June 1809 in the 97th year of her age.

In memory also of GEORGE JEFFRIES their second son who died in London March 18 1804 aged 55 years

To the . . .. . {Henry .... Jeffreys?} who died on the ..... June 1792 in the Eighty Sixth year of

his age. He was the eldest son of GEORGE JEFFREYS late of Crookham.

deposited the remains of Miss SARAH  JEFFREYS youngest daughter of GEORGE JEFFREYS of

London who died April 25 (?) {September 20} 1833.

To the memory of MISS JANE JEFFREYS eldest daughter of the late GEORGE JEFFREYS who died July 12 {22} 1860 aged 83 years.

Also CAPTAIN GEORGE JEFFREYS of Sunwick who died 7 April 1862 aged 83 {88} years.

Underneath are interred THOMAS JEFFREYS who died at Wooler 16 October 1783 aged 74years.

And ELIZABETH JEFFREYS wife to Thomas Jeffreys who died at Wooler 2 December 1798 in the 92nd year of her age.

Also ESTHER JEFFREYS daughter of the above  THOMAS and ELIZABETH JEFFREYS who died at Alnwick 3 July 1818 in the 80th year of her age.
