Gunner Richard Gallon. Royal Field Artillery. ( The C.W.G.S. has his Unit as the 349th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery ). He died at Home on 16th June 1920, aged 23. He was the son of William and Isabella Gallon of “Brae House “, Cheviot Street, Wooler and is buried in Wooler ( St. Mary ) Church Burial Ground. His twin brother James also fell – see below.
