Trooper William Quinn

Trooper William Quinn,  2nd King Edwards Horse. He was killed in action in Belgium on 27th November 1915, aged 27. He was the brother of Adam Quinn who also fell and is commemorated on Ploegsteert Memorial. ( He is also commemorated on the Edrom Memorial ). He had been born in Cranshaws and was the son of Edward and Margaret Quinn of Whitelaws, Edrom and Whitsome Laws, Whitsome. He had landed in France in July 1915 and was killed by a sniper.
