Private Mark Cockburn Richardson, 21st ( 2nd Tyneside Scottish ) Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. He was killed in France on 14th September 1916 during the Battle of the Somme and is buried in Ration Farm Military, La Chapelle-D’ Armentieres, Nord, France. At that time the Battalion were holding front line trenches in the Armentieres sector. He had enlisted in Berwick.
