Private John Elder, 6th Battalion, Training Reserve ( Machine Gun Corps ). He died at Home on 15th April 1918, aged 19. He was the son of David and Catherine Middlemiss Elder and is buried in Polwarth Churchyard, Polwarth, Greenlaw.
