Private Andrew Smith Hutchinson, 1st/4th ( Border ) Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died in Glasgow Infirmary of appendicitis on 3rd September 1914, aged 19. He was the son of Thomas and Agnes Hutchinson of Panama Cottage, Cornhill on Tweed and is buried in Carham Churchyard.( He was the brother of Thomas above ).
