Private David Lunham

Private David Lunham, 1st/4th ( Border ) Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died in Kelso Cottage Hospital on 20th December 1919, aged 26, from kidney disease. He was the son of George and Janet Lunham of Harrietfield, Kelso and is buried in Nenthorn( Old ) Cemetery. His brother Thomas had died from wounds at Gallipoli on 24th July 1915 ( see above ). He is not yet listed on the War Memorial but we feel it is right to include him here. Ongoing efforts are being made to have him listed on the Memorial.
