Trooper Kenneth Laidlaw

Trooper Kenneth R. Laidlaw, Inns of Court Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps. He was killed in action in Normandy near St Germain La Blanche Herbe, Caen on 9th July 1944, aged 31. He was the son of William and Isabella Laidlaw was born in Morebattle and is buried in Bayeux War Cemetery, Normandy, France. The regiment used both the Daimler Armoured Car and the Dingo Scout Car as they were used for reconnaissance of 1 Corps.
