Sergeant Gordon Hodge

Sergeant Gordon Hodge, 49 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He was killed on an Air Operation on 12th October 1942 aged 25. He was the son of John and Mary Hodge of Lauder and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. In October 1942, 49 Squadron was flying Avro Lancasters from R.A.F. Scampton.
