Private Thomas Hall Bruce, 12th/13th ( Service ) Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. He died in France on Service on the 12th November 1918, aged 26. He had been born in Whitelea cottage Beal and was the youngest son of Andrew Geggie Bruce of Beal Farm, Beal and the husband of Robina Bruce. He is buried in Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery, Manancourt, Somme, France.
