Private Edward Main Kinnear, 12th ( Service ) Battalion, Royal Scots. He died on Service in France, aged 20, on the 28th September 1918. He had originally enlisted in the Royal Scots Fusiliers but was posted to the 12th R.S. in France in February 1918. In April he was captured during the German Spring Offensives and died of a fever in a German Military Hospital in Hautmont. His brother David also died during the War – see above. He is buried in Hautmont Communal Cemetery, France.
