Private Allan Dobson

Private Allan Brown Dobson, 6th Battalion, Kings own Scottish Borderers. He was killed by enemy action in England, aged 19, on the 18th November 1940. He had been born in Jedburgh and was the son of Tom and Isabella Dobson of 10 Boundaries, Jedburgh. He had been a plasterer in Jedburgh and as a member of the Territorial K.O.S.B he had been mobilised on the out break of the War. He was killed in the same incident as Private John Dickson. ( see above for details ). He is buried in Castlewood Cemetery, Jedburgh.
