Private William Moffat, 1st/4th (Border) Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died on Service at Eastfield, Greenlaw from T.B. on 13th September 1916 aged 20. He had been born in Coldingham and was the son of James and Agnes Moffat late of Greenlaw and is buried in Greenlaw Kirkyard.
