Private Thomas Goodsir, 6th (Service) Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He was killed in action in France , aged, 19 on the 13th June 1918. He had been born in Galashiels and was the son of Peter and Elizabeth Goodsir of Abbotsford Road, Galashiels. He is buried in La Kreule Military Cemetery, Hazebrouck, France where his Headstone is inscribed ” Beloved Son Of Peter And Lizzie Goodsir Galashiels Sadly Missed”.
