Private Robert Brown, Royal Army Medical Corps. He died on Service in Egypt, aged 29, on the 14th November 1918. and is buried in Cairo War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt. He was born in Galashiels and was the son of William and Isabella Brown of 127 Lintburn Street, Galashiels. He had originally enlisted in the 4th K.O.S.B. but was transferred to the Labour Corps and then to the R.A.M.C. He died in the Nazrieh General Hospital, Cairo.
