Private Henry Cunningham, 2nd Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers. He was killed in action in France, aged 28, on the 24th June 1918 and is buried in Meteren Military Cemetery, France. He had been born in Galashiels and was the son of the late John and Bridget Cunningham of Bank Close, Galashiels. He fell in the successful attack and capture of the village of Meteren.
