Private Andrew Bee.

Private Andrew Brown Bee, Army Service Corps, Remount Depot. He died at Home , aged 37, on the 9th June 1918. He had been born in Galashiels and was the son of Margaret and the late William Bee of Galashiels and the husband of Ethel Bee of 2 Consett Road, Castleside, Consett, Co. Durham. Before enlisting in April 1915 he had been employed as a groom and coachman and was living in Consett. Whilst serving at York he was diagnosed with T.B. and was eventually discharged from the Army in November 1917 as no longer physically fit for war service. He is buried in Castleside Cemetery, Co. Durham
