Private Robert Hedley

Private Robert Hedley, 22nd Battalion ( 3rd Tyneside Scottish ) Northumberland Fusiliers. He died from wounds in France, aged 29, on 4th April 1917 and is buried in Aubigny Communal Cemetery Extension, France. He had been born in Bellingham, Northumberland and was the son of Elizabeth and the late Obert Hedley of Bellingham. Before enlisting in 1914 he had been employed as a gamekeeper at Blackadder Mount, Edrom.
