Sapper George Fullarton

Sapper George Fullarton, Royal Engineers. He died on 29th November 1918 aged 33.  He had been born in Coldingham and was the son of George and Ellen Fullarton of Bellshill, Edrom  and the husband of Maggie Fullarton of 6 Parsons Green Terrace, Edinburgh. He died from pneumonia contracted during training and died in the Frensham Hill Military Hospital, Surrey. He is buried in Piershill Cemetery, Edinburgh. Before enlisting in October 1918 he had been employed as an engine driver in Edinburgh with the North British Railway Company.
