Lance Corporal William Graham

Lance Corporal William Graham, Remount Depot, Army Service Corps. He died in Egypt on Active Service, aged 36 on the 6th July 1915. He had been born in St Mungo, Dumfriesshire and was the son of William and Margaret Graham of Annan and the husband of Annie Graham of Silloth, Cumberland. When he enlisted in February 1915 he had been working on Redpath Farm, Earlston. He was posted to Egypt on the 28th March 1915  but contracted enteric fever and died in the 15th General Hospital. He is buried in the Alexandria ( Chatby ) War Cemetery, Egypt.
