Sergeant Robert Amos, 9th ( Territorial ) Battalion, Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. He died in Malaya, aged 36, between 13th and 16th February 1942 during the Battle for Singapore and is commemorated on the Singapore Civil Hospital Grave Memorial. which stands within the Kranji War Cemetery in Singapore.
