Private Joseph Common, 2nd/7th ( Territorial ) Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. He had been born in Longframlington and was the second son of Joseph and Mary Common. He died at home on 12th May 1916 and is buried in Chatton (Holy Cross) Churchyard.
