Rifleman Robert.Turnbull, 16th Battalion, London Regiment ( Queen's Westminster Rifles ). He died of wounds in the 1st Casualty Clearing Station in France on 6th November 1918, aged 33, and is buried in Cambrai East Military Cemetery. Cambrai, Nord, France. He was the Son of Margaret and the late Robert Turnbull and the husband of Jane Turnbull of 26 Church Street, Berwick. He had joined the Northern Cyclists Battalion in 1914 later transferring to the Tyneside Scottish and then the London Regiment where he had already been wounded.
