Private Henry Wilson Heckles, 9th ( Territorial ) Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. He died of wounds suffered during the Second Battle of Ypres in France on 27th May 1915, aged 26. He was the son of Andrew and Philis Heckles of Coldstream, Berwickshire and is buried in Wimereux Communal Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. The photographs show troops during the Battle.
