Private George Booth

Private George Booth, 2nd Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died in Tidworth Military Hospital in England on 28th April, aged 30, of wounds received in the Second Battle of Ypres. He was the husband of Isabellaooth of 41 East Street, Berwick and is buried in Tidworth Military Cemetery, Surray. It is possible he received his wounds in the attacks in the Hill 60 Sector where the Battalion was heavily engaged and suffered many casualties.
