Corporal David Sykes, 2nd Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died at Home on 7th February 1917 and is buried in Tweedmouth Cemetery. He was the son of James and Elizabeth Sykes of 16 West Street, Spittal. His brother Oswald also fell – see above .
