Lieutenant Cecil Fedden

Lieutenant Cecil Olcher Fedden, 22nd Punjabis, attd. Royal Flying Corps. He died on 7th January 1918 whilst on a training flight. He was the husband of Shena Lennox Fedden of Berwick and is buried in Berwick-upon-Tweed Cemetery. A storm forced him down into the sea and he died of exposure before help could arrive. Before joining the R.F.C he had served in Mesapotamia and on the Western Front where he had been wounded.  His wife of only a few weeks was the daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Charles Fraser, R.A.M.C. of Elder House, Berwick.
