Here deposited are the remains of Eleanor and Mark children of John and Margaret McLeod of Emerick who died in October 1833, Eleanor their daughter aged 17 months, Marle their son aged 6 years.

'Their afflicted patience though sorrowing like men, yet as Christians rejoicing erect this stone to their memory as a simple monument of departed innocence'.

Also to the memory of W. McLeod their eldest son who died 7th April 1835 in the 19th year of his age.
