Erected by ANN HEWIT in memory of husband WILLIAM JAFFARY who died at Oxenrig 12th December 1889 aged 56 years.
Commentary
William Jaffary was born at Polwarth, Berwickshire, an Agricultural Labourer and he lived at 8 Oxenrig. His wife Ann was born at Coldstream.
