Erected to the memory of JOHN SMITH who died at Coldstream 25 September 1857 aged 75 years. Also JANET SMART his wife who died 7 October 1859 aged 75 years. In loving memory of ISABELLA SMART beloved wife of JOHN GRAY who died at Glasgow 13 September 1884 aged 29 years. Also ISABELLA SMART GRAY their daughter who died in infancy.

Also AGNES SMART wife of JOHN SMART who died 17 August 1917 aged 66 years.  (On the rear). Erected by MARY SMITH in memory of ALEXANDER SMART her husband who died 31 March 1867 aged 51 years. Also an infant daughter died 1854. Also ISABELLA who died 11 April 1854 aged 2 years. Also the above MARY SMITH who died 29 September 1892 aged 73 years. Not gone from memory nor from love. But gone to our Father’s home above
