In memory of JESSIE COCKBURN wife of Rev WILLIAM LEE Horndean who died Feb 16th 1826 aged 81 years.

On the side of the monument

Also his son JAMES LEE M.D. born Sept 19th 1818.died at Duns Nov 1  1852.

On the Back of the monument

Rev WILLIAM LEE  died April 11th 1854 in his 47th year of ministry.  “The rest in unreadable”

He was minister of Horndean Congregation  for 41 years.
