Erected by JOHN & AGNES WEDDELL in memory of their children who died at Milfield.

THOMAS their son died 17 November 1851 aged 5 years. ISABELLA their daughter died 19 November 1851 aged 2 years.

PHILIP MARSHALL WEDDELL their son died at Whiteburn 28 May1878 aged 23 years.  Interred in Norham churchyard.

The above named JOHN WEDDELL  died at Ancroft South Moor 28 July 1887 aged 76 years.
