This stone is erected by JOHN TAITE of 228 Oxford Street London in memory of his much

respected father JOHN TAITE of Pallinsburn who died 1 April 1820 aged 76 years.

 Also five sons of the above  GEORGE TAITE died December 18 1847 aged 81 years.

THOMAS died ... 1833 aged . years. ELIZABETH died 14 April 183 ..... aged 32
