Ford Church Interior – Carr

Transcription

In the burial ground of this church are interred the remains of  JOHN CARR 
who was during the last forty years of his life agent for Ford Estate under
five successive proprietors. To habits of Great Assiduity he added a
cheerfulness of temper & urbanity of manners whilst his benevolent
dllposition procurred him the attachment of a numerous circle of friends.
He departed this life April XI I MDCCCXXIX aged LXXVI years. As a
tribute of affection this monument is erected to his memory by his widow
& family.
